Gunmen have kidnapped the farm manager of the late former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala.
According to the Daily Trust, on Saturday night, armed men broke into TDB farms in the Jabata neighborhood of the Surulere Local Government area of the state and kidnapped Christopher Bakare.
The gunmen have reportedly made contact and are demanding a N100m ransom. A source told the publication;
“Yes, he has been kidnapped. Those guys speak a smattering of Yoruba. He was kidnapped in the farm. We have been trying to negotiate with them even though the police have been informed.”
