Glastonbury Festival Gets Cancelled Due To Coronavirus

The 50th edition of the annual Glastonbury scheduled to hold at UK has been cancelled due to Coronavirus.

The organizers made the announcement on their official Twitter handle @glastonbury, that the annual festival has been cancelled as a way of obeying the new government measures to prevent further spread of the virus. “We are so sorry to announce this, but we are going to have to cancel Glastonbury 2020. Tickets for this year will roll over to next year. Full statement below and on our website. Michael & Emily”.

However, Burna Boy and Seun Kuti were among the performing artists for this year’s festival.

Similarly, the pandemic diseases has caused the cancellation of different music festivals such as Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Stagecoach and so many others.
