Wizkid turns 30 today

Today we celebrate the birth of a Nigerian music icon, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid as he turns 30 today.

The singer who broke into the limelight in 2010 after releasing his smash hit single ‘Holla At Your Boy‘, under former label EME records has risen to become one of the biggest artists in the world.

Ever since his break through the singer has gone on to win numerous domestic and international awards including a Grammy nomination for his efforts on ‘One Dance‘ and ‘Brown Skin Girl.’

Over his 10 years span doing music the ‘Joro‘ has gone on to bag a host of endorsement deals from big firms like; Pepsi, Nike and his big money deal with UBA bank.

Recall, that we brought you that Wizkid’s official disc jockey, DJ Tunez will host a 2 hours live set of only Wizkid’s songs on his Instagram to celebrate the singer.
