Nigerian music star, Wizkid lost the “Best World Music Album” at the 2022 Grammy Award.

The 64th edition of the Grammy Award was held in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3, 2022. With sensational performances from Brandi Carlile, H.E.R and others.

This year’s Grammy Award came with a lot of feeling from music lovers and support across the globe. Nigerian singer, Wizkid lost to Angélique Kidjo In Best World Music Album Category. Angélique Kidjo’s album, “Mother Nature” defeated Wizkid, ‘Made in Lagos’ album. Furthermore, Wizkid had a complete major blow after also losing to Arooj Aftab Best Global Music Performance.

In addition, other nominations in the Best World Music Album Category were Nigerian music icon Femi Kuti, and Made Kuti’s “Legacy”.

Finally, Wizkid is expected to host a concert at Accor Arena in France later this year.
