Ice Prince, a Nigerian rapper, is accused of assaulting a police officer in video evidence that the Lagos State Police Command has, according to Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson. The video will be used against Ice Prince in court today, September 2.
Ice Prince was taken into custody this morning for operating a vehicle without a license plate. According to Hundeyin, who revealed this, Ice Prince allegedly assaulted the police officer who took his arrest and threatened to throw him in the river.
Many Nigerians doubted the story and said video evidence should be made public. In an update given, Hundeyin said the police has video evidence but won’t release it.
