Chelsea legend, John Terry, has written off the club’s title hope this season.

Terry does not believe Chelsea can win the Premier League title this season.

Chelsea secured their first win under Graham Potter on Saturday after beating Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park.

The Blues are currently in the fifth position on the Premier League table with 13 points from seven matches.

Speaking on beIN Sports, Terry said: “It’s been five years since we won the Premier League. Is that going to change this year? No.

“So you are looking at the FA Cup, Carabao Cup, European Cup… it’s going to be tough.

“So then all of your eggs are going to be in two baskets domestically, and actually you need to keep players fit, so do you rest and rotate players to make sure they get in the top four? What’s the priority? Only Potter will know that.”
