Former Manchester United goalkeeper, Peter Schmeichel, has reckoned striker Erling Haaland is a mix of AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

Schmeichel said that Haaland is so ‘dangerous’ because he sees Zlatan, Ronaldo, and many other top strikers in him.

Haaland was impressive for Man City on Sunday as they hammered Manchester United 6-3 at Etihad Stadium.

The Norwegian scored a hat-trick for Pep Guardiola’s side against the Red Devils to take his goals tally in the Premier League this season to 14.

Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, Schmeichel said: “When you look at Haaland, you see different players. That Zlatan-like goal and Ronaldo are in there too.

“You see top, top strikers in one. That is why he is so dangerous. He has the luxury of seeing many top strikers, and they are all put into one player.”
